President Obama spoke at Notre Dame on Sunday and I thought good for him for bringing up the abortion issue that's been surrounding the invitation. I agree with everyone else and I think the President is an amazing speaker. It's just sometimes I don't think he hears the words or ideas he speaks. He said, about those with differing views on abortion and the dialogue between them that, they should have "Open hearts. Open minds. Fair-minded words." That's good and all but does he not understand that those of us who oppose abortion do it because we know that abortion is murder? He honestly doesn't know we believe when a woman gets an abortion she is murdering another human being. I do believe there are certain circumstances where it could be an option- rape & the mothers life is in danger. But when President Obama asks for understanding I really don't think he understands anti-abortion views. Is he really asking us to be more understanding of the murder of innocent babies? What's next? Should we be "open minded" when we read about the genocide of theJewish people by the Nazis? Although what should I expect from a President who wanted to sit down and have "fair minded words" with Ahmedinejad, the president of Iran who just so happens to be a holocaust denier among other things.video via Hot Air
